Outdoor Bullet Camera - Anvision Active 48V to 12V PoE Splitter Adapter (available by others)
Use this adapter at the camera to make it a PoE
If more than two cameras are being installed, it is recommended that a PoE switch be supplied along with an Anvision Active 48V to 12V PoE Splitter Adapter.
This will split the PoE CAT5 or CAT6 to split the power to the camera. Otherwise, there will need to be several transformers that will need to find a power plug.
Q: How is the camera powered?
A: A low voltage transformer is included. The camera’s data can be transmitted via WiFi to the customer’s router / gateway.
Q: Can the Outdoor Bullet Camera be connected PoE?
A: Yes. A CAT5 or CAT6 cable can be connected from the customer’s router/gateway. The use of an Anvision Active 48V to 12V PoE Splitter Adapter (sold by others) can split the power from the CAT5 or CAT6 so that the power input is connected. The splitter has a RG45 connector that connects the data into the camera. The customer must have a PoE router/gateway, or a PoE switch be added.
